Become a CHN Host
From a CHN host:
“We feel the whole ‘thing’ is really beneficial to all concerned and is highly effectively organised. It is a rebuttal against the lazy blame of everything on ‘boat people’ and we want to be part of the rebuttal process”.
Our BHN guests stay for 6 days, generally from Monday to Saturday. Hosts simply offer B&B to our guests. – CHN volunteers take care of the other meals and activities during the day.
The guests will usually be two men, at least one of whom will speak reasonable English. We have detailed Guidelines for Hosts and lots of support from us and previous hosts to talk with too.
